HBO Caribbean’ and ‘Flow’ announces the start of a "Spiderman" contest, scheduled to take place from July 11 and August 22, 2008.
This promotion is open to all regional ‘HBO Caribbean’ subscribers. To enter, Flow customers must answer trivia questions about the movie by logging onto www.flowtrinidad.com for a chance to win.
The grand prize is a trip for two, airfare and hotel included, to the city of Los Angeles for eight days, while there the winner will have the opportunity to visit the Sony/Columbia Pictures studios. For those who miss the grand prize there are a lot of consolation prizes to be won.
The contest is the perfect prelude to the premiere of “Spider-Man 3” this coming July 26 on HBO Caribbean. “Spider-Man 3” is the third installment of the adventures and misadventures of Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire), who this time reveals his secret to Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst) and to Harry (James Franco), and must face an escaped convict with superhuman powers.
“Our intention with this contest is to reward our subscribers for being movie buffs, and for choosing our channels to enjoy the quality programming which HBO offers, featuring exclusive films, series and specials," said Miguel Angel Oliva, Vice-President of Public Relations and Corporate Affairs of HBO Latin America Group.
The hit movie Spider-Man 3 had its U.S. premiere on May 4, 2007, with impressive box office sales of US$59 million dollars on the first day of screening.
