Cedar Point Communications, a worldwide leader in integrated Voice over IP (VoIP) switching technologies for communications providers, and Flow, announced today that Cedar Point’s SAFARI C³ Multimedia Switching System has been deployed for the delivery of voice services in Trinidad.
Flow is the brand that represents the services offered by Columbus Communications Trinidad Ltd. The Company offers a full suite of voice, video and data communications under that brand name to more than 150,000 subscribers in Trinidad. "Flow is pleased to partner with Cedar Point to deliver a robust, reliable telephone service to our customers in Trinidad,” said John Reid, President & Chief Operating Officer of Flow. “We have deployed the SAFARI system at our sister company in Jamaica with great success.”

Cedar Point has shipped more than four million SAFARI C³ lines to customers in the Americas, the Caribbean and Europe. SAFARI C³ supports up to 250,000 lines of capacity in less than a cubic yard of space, incorporating all of the components that make up the voice switching infrastructure. It is being deployed for residential and business services by a diverse customer base that includes Cable System Operators, Competitive Local Exchange Carriers (CLECs), Wireless Operators and Universities.
