Port-of-Spain, Tuesday 11th November, 2008: Flow and Courts have teamed up to offer low cost computers across the country.
“Broadband services are no longer a convenience but an essential part of everyday life. Flow has significantly transformed the broadband landscape since our entry into the market just one year ago” stated Flow’s Marketing, Communications and Sales Director,
Mrs. Rhea Yaw Ching. “Unfortunately, while we have made great strides in broadband accessibility, computer affordability still remains an issue for many citizens; this initiative will address that and we thank Courts for sharing our vision”, added Yaw Ching.
Consumers can purchase an Acer model with Vista starter for $2,999.00 VAT Inclusive at any Courts outlet during the months of December and January. Flow is offering free installation, a free modem and one month complimentary U-click Unlimited 1 broadband service for the first month after purchase. Consistent with all of Flow’s retail offerings, there are no contracts to sign for consumers who wish to avail of its service offering.
Flow also announced an upgrade to one of its packages effective December 1st 2008. All 6Mbps customers will automatically be upgraded to 10Mbps at no additional cost. According to Mrs. Yaw Ching “we must continue to demonstrate exponential increases in speeds if we are to truly compete with global ICT players and support the government’s transformation plans for Trinidad and Tobago”. Yaw Ching added that the Company hoped to be testing speeds up to 50Mbps within 24 months.
