This document serves as an Internet Usage Policy for all Internet subscribers to Flow’s Cable Modem broadband service Internet via Metro Ethernet Services and Flow’s WIFI Internet Services (F-Spots). You are obligated to follow these rules once you have any of the stated services from Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited, via the Branding Flow Trinidad.
PLEASE READ THIS AGREEMENT CAREFULLY. This is a binding agreement between you the Internet customer, and Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited, the Service Provider of these Internet Services.
1. FLOW TRINIDAD Cable Modem Packages
Cable modem Residential Packages are as follows:

It should be noted that these speeds are Service Capable Speeds and represent the maximum that can be reached using these services. The rate of data transfer from Columbus Communication Trinidad’s Cable Modem Termination System and the cable modem Network port. These speeds are not guaranteed. Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited will not be responsible for the data transfer speeds out of their Network.
2. FLOW TRINIDAD IP Address Assignments
Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited will provide a Dynamic IP address to any Internet customer unless otherwise specified and requested by the customer. A static IP address can only be provided if the intended use warrants it, which include but not limited to :
- IP Address being used for a server
- IP Address being used on a firewall for VPN tunneling
- Static IP Address is specifically required by application or system.
3. Internet Misuse
You will be subject to the Internet Acceptable Use Policy for Internet Services provided by Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited.
Any violation of this policy can result in suspension or termination of Internet Services by Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited without prior warning.
- Residential Internet Services is provided for domestic use and should not be re-distributed and sold.
- Copyright Infringement will not be tolerated. With reference to Copyright protected data, this data cannot be downloaded, uploaded , transmitted, streamed , posted or offered using Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited Internet Services. Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited will not be liable for such act and you, the customer will hold all risks.
- Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited will not be liable for minors using the Internet Services to acquire or view pornographic material or any such material which are only deemed suitable for adults. The customer is responsible for using software and services to mitigate against such.
- Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited will not be held responsible for any download, upload or email content the service may be used for. This is the customer’s responsibility and the customer will be held responsible if any illegal activity is conducted in such a manner.
- Internet Services provided by Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited should not be used for Hacking purposes or illegal activities to any server, website, system or personal system on the Internet. In such an occurrence, CCTL can forward any relevant information to the Trinidad and Tobago Police, or SUATT Cyber Crime Unit. Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited will not be held responsible for such occurrences and will be the sole responsibility of the customer.
- Internet Services provided by Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited should not be used to transmit any threatening or malicious messages using email, website blog, post on forums , messenger or any other services. In such an occurrence, CCTL can forward any relevant information to the Trinidad and Tobago Police, or SUATT Cyber Crime Unit.
- In the event of any illegal activity, the activity with details should be forwarded to the Police for a formal Police Report. Columbus Communications Trinidad Limited will not provide specific customer information to any individual or company. This information will only be provided to the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service and SUATT Cyber Crime Unit.
